The Legend of Ballydoyle
Rosegreen is a small village situated on a crossroad in County Tipperary in the southern midland of Ireland. Rosegreen is home to the world renowned Ballydoyle Racing Stables. Ballydoyle has a tradition, which stretches back almost 50 years, as a nursery of classic excellence. Over than time the legendary Vincent O’Brien nurtured at Ballydoyle the careers of a legion of superlative racehorses, among them Ballymoss, Sir Ivor, Nijinsky II, The Minstrel, Alleged, Storm Bird, EL Gran Senor and Coolmore’s record breaking Champion Sadler’s Wells. Recent years have seen new chapters written in Ballydoyle’s story.

There is live music which is usually good and there is dancing Ceili dancing on Monday evenings (even some lessons for you folks who can't--don't worry, they won't start you out with a hornpipe) and there is always something going on. Service can be very good.

This place is huge. Large outdoor patio, great food, variety of drinks. I strongly recommend this place if you like live music. They convert a section of the bar area to a stage.
The woodwork there is great. They have huge old chandeliers hanging. In the back of the bar there is a fireplace room. The bathrooms doors and walls are made from old wooden doors.
Great place!
