Using the Irish Beer Finder to plan our trip, we found the Carraig Pub not too far from our hotel right off I-80. We loved the Carraig, and wished we had been there early enough to enjoy a little of the Chicago Gaelic Park. It looks like a nice place. The Carraig has great atmosphere, authentic furnishings (well, at least as authentic as two Nebraskans who have never traveled to Ireland know about), really friendly waitstaff, a varied menu including Irish comfort food, and a nice selection of Stouts on draft.
