Mac McGee opened its doors to Decatur, GA at the start of January 2010. Located on Decatur’s square, it beckons coziness with a first class welcome. Whether you’re alone or in a group, you will feel like a friend as well as a patron in Mac McGee.
We pride ourselves on the traditional aspects of Irish pub culture. In alliance our chef has cultivated a menu for Irish cuisine with a twist! Our staff members are more like a family that will offer you a dose of “craic” to complement that pint or meal.
With so many events ahead of us including the World Cup in June, we hope you will find yourself sharing an evening or a lunch in our company. Our new chef Jeff Sigler is introducing new seasonal menu items weekly along with our traditional specialties. Of course, our kid’s menu is well stocked with choices for all ages.

Came here with family. Delicious dinner in a cozy, casual atmosphere. Dinner was excellent, staff so friendly. Just a wonderfully charming pub. Great addition to the square.

Frisky for my whiskey! This is THE pub, the only pub to LOVE. Making a mark in Decatur and well they should. The food is fantastic, staff you actually get to know, and just all around true pub to the core. Slainte!
