Claddagh breast cancer event takes a shot at a world record

The Claddagh Irish Pub & Restaurant at Legacy Village in Lyndhurst will be the site of the "Shot for Breast Cancer" event at 8 p.m. Sunday 18 April 2010. The event is raising money for the Northern Ohio Breast Cancer Coalition Fund. All 15 Claddagh locations in the United States are holding concurrent events in an attempt to break a world record for the "biggest shot." Registration begins at 7 p.m. Cost is $7, which includes one shot of Jameson Irish Whiskey. The first 150 registrants will receive a commemorative shot glass.
