CHARLOTTE - The spirit of Ireland came alive in uptown Charlotte at this year's Irish Summer Festival this weekend.
Hundreds gathered at the corner of Third and Tryon streets for Saturday's festivities which features Irish music, dancing, food and a Gaelic football expedition.
