Philadelphia to host Beer Week

Philadelphia will host the third annual Philly Beer Week (PBW)from June 4 through June 13 this year.

The event starts June 4 at the Independence Visitors Center with the Opening Tap, a celebration honoring more than 25 regional breweries whose beer helps provide Philadelphia with brew. Opening tap tickets costs $40 and can be purchased online at www.phillybeerweek.org. No tickets are available for purchase at the door. The website also features information on the schedule of events and a list of participants. Live music will be part of the opening event.
