Temple Bar on Ashland, Chicago
Temple Bar, at 3001 N. Ashland, is a piece of Ireland in Chicago's backyard. Modeled after the historic Temple Bar in Dublin, Lakeview's newest gem features the same historical red brick exterior as the original.
The spacious Irish pub boasts a "come one come all attitude." The outdoor patio, featuring a block long row of tables, is the perfect place to enjoy a meal outdoors and drink under the stars.
Temple Bar's menu has something for everyone. For a taste of authentic Irish food, the Guinness Beef Stew might be the dish of choice. Pair the Irish classic made with Angus tenderloin, fingerling potatoes, veggies and homemade Guinness gravy with an Irish Rover Whiskey Flight for a delectable meal. If it's an American bar classic you're looking for, customers rave the wings are the biggest and baddest for their taste and size. If it's your thirst you want to quench, try one of Temple Bar's many imported bottles or whiskey flights.
Whether you're stopping in after work or spending a night out friends, everyone will enjoy the friendly and lively atmosphere. For more information on the Temple Bar call (773) 248-0990.
